Pittsburgh, PA (December 17, 2024) — Life’sWork of Western PA recently received a grant from the Howard E. and Nell E. Miller Charitable Foundation for use in the Life’sWork Employment Support Services for Individuals in Recovery program. This award represents an ongoing commitment from the Foundation in support of the Life’sWork Support Services Recovery program. Employment is a powerful aspect of substance use disorder recovery and the Foundation’s continued support will assist individuals on the recovery journey to finding continued success. The Support Services Recovery program provides advocacy, community outreach, recovery support, and meaningful employment services to those actively recovering from substance abuse disorder, equipping them for success in recovery and in the workplace.
