Celebrating 25 Years of Commitment: A Tribute to Rosemary Dammond

A long-time Life’sWork of Western PA employee is embarking on a new chapter of her life. After 25 years of extraordinary service, Rosemary Dammond is retiring. Rosemary currently serves as Life’sWork’s director of facilities, corporate compliance officer, and corporate secretary. She leaves Life’sWork having made a profound impact on everyone she’s touched, from fellow employees to clients and their families.

From the moment she joined Life’sWork 25 years ago, Rosemary quickly became more than just a colleague. She became a sister, a friend, and a trusted mentor to so many. Her unwavering dedication to the Life’sWork mission has touched the lives of not only her coworkers but also the countless clients she’s served. Rosemary is the epitome of what it means to empower others and foster workplace development.

Throughout her years at Life’sWork, Rosemary has exhibited steady leadership, a compassionate spirit, and an unyielding commitment to our mission. She is truly the embodiment of what it means to work passionately toward making lives work better and fostering a community that allows all of us to learn, grow, and thrive. Rosemary leaves a lasting impression on everyone who has had the privilege of working alongside her over the last quarter of a century. The programs she has helped to shape and the individuals and families she has impacted serve as a remarkable testament to her incredible legacy.

Rosemary is kindness itself combined with a tireless work ethic and an infectious smile that just brings peace, joy, and adventure to every day. As she retires from Life’sWork and brings her beautiful talents to another phase of life, we thank her for the hard work and determined dedication she has poured into Life’sWork over the past 25 years. We would not be the organization we are today without the legacy she has built. That legacy will forever remain a part of who we are, and Rosemary’s spirit of commitment and light will continue to guide us as we strive to carry forth the values she instilled in us.

For all Rosemary has accomplished, we thank her profusely. For the light and spirit she will bring to this next phase of her life, we celebrate her and wish her well. She will be missed around the office, but we know that our greater community will continue to benefit from Rosemary’s gifts—and for that we are grateful.
