Life’sWork of Western PA is a nonprofit organization that empowers people to live the life they choose. We support people living with disabilities, individuals facing other employment barriers, and young adults on their journey toward purpose, self-esteem, and independence through meaningful work.

The Life’sWork Empower the Path Forward Campaign aims to raise $2.5 million by June 30, 2027, as we prepare to celebrate our 100th anniversary. Your support is vital in helping us create a brighter future for individuals with disabilities and others who encounter challenges in finding employment. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and pave the way for growth, inclusion, and opportunity. Join us in making a lasting difference!

If the individuals we serve are not afforded fair living wages, then their ability to gain or regain independence and opportunities becomes challenging. We cannot do this alone. We need your help!

$5,000 provides 8 individuals with small group employment opportunities for 12 months.

$10,000 provides 17 individuals with supported employment for 12 months.

We serve over 1,500 CLIENTS EVERY YEAR through our direct employment, small group employment, and integrated employment programs.

Our clients earn over $600,000 IN WAGES every year through our employment programs.

Life’sWork has a well-established and distinguished history of service to the community, focusing on improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by providing opportunities for meaningful employment.

Every year, Life’sWork raises the money it requires to support these programs and services through a combination of public funding, revenues generated by our business services division, and the generosity of contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Donations are used to help pay for programs when individuals don’t qualify for other assistance and to create or expand new, innovative programs that benefit people with disabilities.
